OREM, Utah — January 26, 2009 —Mity-Lite, the leading U.S. producer of durable and lightweight tables and chairs, today announced the opening of its new sales office in the United Kingdom.  The new Berkshire location provides customers with the personalized service and product consultation that is a hallmark of Mity-Lite. The company also just recently launched a new web site to provide an interactive showroom for its products worldwide.

“Mity-Lite is the premier destination for durable, lightweight furniture systems,” said CEO Randy Hales. “As such, our new U.K. office better positions us to meet the needs of existing and future customers with the dual support of a strong global organization and a professional local presence, helping to ensure our customers’ continued success.”
The new office is led by Michael Cross who brings several years of experience selling complementary product to Western European clientele.

Hales continues, “While the global economy is down, Mity-Lite will continue to invest in its core business. We are focused on building a culture of ‘enterprise excellence,’ better enabling Mity-Lite to introduce new products that will serve to protect and enlarge its table presence while extending our chair product offering.”

Mity-Lite recently updated the company’s brand identity with a new logo and Web site, which will be used to cast a product innovation theme of “moving the industry forward” over the next year.
